MUSEUMS OF MONDAINO
It is worth visiting the Experimental Arboretum of
Mediterranean Flora, a botanic garden which extends for 9 hectares on a hill
near Mondaino. This wonderful Arboretum, that is also equipped with a
hothouse, a museum, and a resting place, has been created to preserve and
study more than 2,000 species of extremely important Mediterranean flora
being subject to genetic alterations. Since 1998, the local museum organizes
interesting environmental education courses and theatrical and musical
seminars for young students.
