Rebuilt after the damages caused by the earthquake occurred in 1672, the temple was erected in 1518 on the spot where St Antony of Padua performed the miracle of the mule, which, in order to convert the Patarines, who had in Rimini many followers, knelt to the Blessed Sacrament.
