The Malatesta Boundary Walls

Very interesting are the Malatesta boundary walls, built about the mid-thirteenth century not far from the Roman boundary walls and later restored by the Malatestas. Noteworthy remains in excellent condition are still visible near the Arch of Augustus and beside the arch called Porta Gervasona or Portello, which, with the noteworthy embattled tower which is at the side of it, belonged to the walls.
